Choose label mateiral for your custom label sticker printing

When it comes to custom label printing there are thousands of material options for labels.  Choosing label materials can be overwhelming.  How you want your custom labels to look is only a small part of choosing label materials that are right for your product.  You have to consider how your product will be manufactured, your products container type, even the ingredients in your product can affect your label material options.  Plus you'll need to consider how your product will be shipped, stored, and what your label will be exposed to throughout it's life span.  

Below are our most popular material options for labels to help get you started in choosing label materials that are right for your product:

White BOPP (Permanent)
Our most popular and versatile label material option, that is suitable for most applications!  Highly durable with a general purpose permanent acrylic adhesive. To increase durability, or create different finishes White BOPP can be used with a gloss or matte laminate, or UV varnish.

Suggested Applications: Rigid containers, water bottles, cosmetics, bath and body products, food labels, vitamin and supplement products, agricultural, and commercial products.  Great material for labels that will be exposed to water, chemicals, or moisture!


Clear BOPP (Permanent)
Ultra-clear material option for labels designed to provide the no-label look on glass, clear and dark colored rigid plastic containers. General purpose permanent acrylic adhesive. Temporarily repositionable. Clear BOPP can be used with a Gloss or Matte Laminate, or UV  Varnishes.

Suggested Applications: Rigid containers, water bottles, cosmetics, bath and body products, food labels, vitamin and supplement products, agricultural, and commercial products. Great material for labels that will be exposed to water, chemicals, or moisture!


Semi Gloss paper (Permanent)
Our most widely used material option for labels.  Super smooth semi-gloss paper. All-temperature adhesive which provides good room temperature performance and excellent cold temperature performance. Can be used with a Gloss or Matte Laminate, or UV Varnishes.

Suggested Applications: Rigid containers, cosmetics, food, bakery, nutriceutical, promotional products, and most prime label applications.


Silver Metalized Paper
Metalized bright silver material option for labels. For product labeling and special applications. General purpose permanent adhesive. Can be used with a Gloss or Matte Laminate, or IV Varnishes.

Suggested Applications: Cosmetics, food, bakery, industrial, nutriceutical, promotional products, and most prime label applications.


Matte Paper:
An economical choice for applications with an all temperature adhesive.  Ultra smooth, imprintable, smudge resistant.  This product is ideal if you need a label that will allow you to hand write information on it or is for short term use.  

Suggested Applications: Bar code applications, hand written information, cosmetics, food, bakery, nutricuetical, promotional products, and most prime label applications.


Laminates and Varnishs:

Gloss Laminate: Clear polypropylene overlaminate. Provides a high gloss shiny surface that offers excellent acid, chemical, oil, and water resistance.

Matte Laminate: Clear polypropylene overlaminate. Offers a low glare surface that offers excellent acid, chemical, oil, and water resistance.

Gloss UV Varnish: Provides a high gloss finish with excellent UV and scratch resistance. Appropriate for outdoor use.

Imprintable Laminates: Provides a glossy finish that is imprintable with most inks.

Imprintable UV Varnish: Provides a satin finish that allows overprinting with most inks.
